So very LOST...

Today I decided to tackle the dreaded DMV trip that hangs over us for about a month out of every year. I'm pretty impressed with myself for getting it out of the way by the 8th of the month, ESPECIALLY considering that since I moved to a new county, I was clueless as to where I was going. Hmmm. "Clueless as to where I was going." Haven't I blogged about my navigational skills before? Yes, I believe I have. I have absolutely ZERO innate sense of direction. I swear, for the first time, I spent more time in the car trying to find the place (much, much more) than I did in the actual DMV. No line. I just walked right up to the window, paid my toll for being a citizen and a driver, and I was out. By my parking meter, it was actually four minutes. Not bad.

But the parts of town I SAW while I was lost... yikes. I drove through the actual projects - and I'm pretty certain that my little VW bug with orange flower in the vase holder tipped the passerby off to my "lost" status. I got some great looks.

Speaking of LOST, I was blown away by the finale, have been reading online at several fansites/blogs, and I found an explanation that I think flies with me.Doc Jensen's article.

Do a search for any of Jensen's articles on EW, and his LOST theories are quite good.
I'll be re-watching seasons 1 and 2 this month - must have well-informed opinion for dinner parties.

Yeah, okay, all that philosophy stuff is well and good, but what about Jack and Kate?! I want them together... :)

As far as Left Behind is concerned, just tell me what to pray for, and I will.
